District One Fire responds to Motorcycle Accident on Highway 282
District One personnel responded to a call for a Motorcycle accident on Highway 282 in Van Buren. The patient was transported by Air Evac 22 from Paris, AR to a nearby trauma center. Thanks for the assistance from Southwest EMS, Air Evac 22, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, and Arkansas State Police.

District one personnel responded to a rollover accident on Interstate 49 north of Alma today. Multiple agencies responded including Air Evac, Southwest EMS, Crawford County Sheriffs Office, and Arkansas State Police. No information will be released regarding the patient.
4/20/2023 – Department Training
Tonight, our volunteers performed pressure testing on the hose from our Bond Special Station Apparatuses. We perform these quarterly for each station to ensure safety and reliability when it comes time to use these hoses!
4/13/2023 – District Training
Tonight, District One personnel participated in a Swift Water Rescue class. Participants practiced rope rescue techniques, planning and incident management, and different ways of rescuing victims of Swift Waters.

At training tonight, District 1 utilized the countyโs mobile burn trailer. With this trailer we are able to conduct live fire training scenarios.
